My Vegan Dulce de Leche (new recipe) is a Caramel Spread made with water, organic coconut milk powder, brown sugar,  sunflower lecithin,  pink salt and vanilla extract. It is a Vegan alternative of the South American Dulce de Leche traditionally made with cow's milk. As an Argentinian myself, Dulce de Leche is synonymous of my childhood, little did I know then of the cruelty involved in the dairy industry...As a vegan now, I have developed this recipie which is vegan friendly and also thought after by people with intolerance to dairy.
My Vegan Dulce de Leche is smooth and silky, with a mild aroma of coconut and a rich caramel colour. It is perfect with pancakes! But can also be spread on bread, toast, on peanut butter!  crackers, crumpets,  fruit, ideal with bananas, sprinkled with nuts! It is great to accompany desserts or ice cream, etc
