The family has been farming at Nevil Holt for over 50 years. We invested in a renewable energy plant (an anaerobic digester) and discovered that as well as producing electricity for the National Grid one of the process’s by-products was a nutrient-rich organic fertiliser, free from animal matter, that could be used to fertilise crops. We used the fertiliser to replace the use of chemical fertilisers on our land and soon saw outstanding results in our crops and our garden vegetables and plants.
We naturally we wanted to share this success with other keen gardeners looking for an effective, organic and vegan friendly fertiliser solution. Vegan gardening is the growing movement of the moment. Organic gardening has steadily grown over the last few years, and more people are now looking to grow veganically. Most organic fertilisers or soil conditioners have animal by-products in them, so we are delighted to be able to provide vegan growers with a nutrient rich product to grow their fruit and vegetables and feed all their garden flowers and plants.
The products are Soil Association, Organic Farmers and Growers and Vegan Society approved.
