A delicious plant based alternative to Salt Caramel made from an emulsion of rapeseed oil, brown sugar and potato starch.
Unlike conventional caramel, this Plant Based Salt Caramel does not contain Butter.
It is amazing just how good this Dairy Free Salt Caramel is, even without all of the butter that the original variety is made with. It is just as creamy and has a delicioius toffee flavour.
This dairy free salt caramel is utterly addictive; despite the fact that it will keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge, it never lasts for more than a couple of days in our house! You can simply just eat it with a spoon directly from the jar.
It is also incredibly versatile and can be used for so many different delicious things: why not try it:spread on toast, muffins or scones; with crepes or pancakes; swirled into (vegan) yogurt or ice cream; in millionaire’s shortbread; on top of an aquafaba pavlova or to fill a cake or cupcakes.
This product has a one year shelf life from production, and needs to be refridgerated once opened.

Janda is derived from the founders’ two first names – Jon and Andre. Partners in life and business, they set up Janda after their nephews were diagnosed with allergies to egg and dairy.
